MOVEMENT, RHYTHM, AND REBELLION IN FLIGHT

CATERINA STEFANOFF

SYNOPSIS

Rapsodia Negra is a circus and live music performance that celebrates metamorphosis as a poetic act.

A one-woman band transforms and takes flight as a black crow, moving through humor, body, and emotion across the thin line between chaos and beauty.

DESCRIPTION

Rapsodia Negra is a circus and live music performance that explores the body and emotion as engines of transformation. A fragile, transparent woman dares to orchestrate her own life and set her emotions to music. Through gesture, humor, and the poetry of the body, she ventures to the edge of her deepest fears, balancing on the border of reason. With boldness, she dives into the frantic dance of the pleasure of feeling — the authentic, unfeathered black crow she always dreamed of becoming.
